ART SHOW WINNERS

Markoma has seen it’s share of ribbons in recent art competitions. Three students placed in the Cherokee County Art Show:
Cho Long Kim - 1st Place 11th & 12th
Chelsea Robbins - 3rd Place 9th & 10th
James Fennell - 2nd Place 7th & 8th

Cho Long Kim also won two awards in the 2nd District Congressional Art Show:
1st Place - Printmaking
3rd Place - Pencil (Animate subject)
U.S. Congressman Brad Carson was on hand to present her with the award.

 


GEASLANDS SPEAK AT BANQUET ... John and Michelle Geasland, of Tahlequah, spoke at the annual Valentines Banquet about God’s faithfulness in bringing them together in His timing. They encouraged the studentsto wait on the Lord. John is and area dentist and Michelle works at home with their three small children. John and Michelle met during a short term mission trip to China. They are supporters of Markoma Christian School.

PRAY as we search for and interview prospective math and science teachers for the 2002-2003 school year. If you know of any qualified teachers in these areas please call us with information.

CONTINUE TO PRAY for our Seniors as they prepare and raise funds for their Mission trip to Puebla, Mexico in May.
